Aluminium windows and doors are custom-fabricated to the millimetre. Because every opening is different, we don't publish flat prices — we issue an accurate, written quote after a free on-site measure.
Every Bluminium price is based on a free on-site measure and a written quotation. That way, the figure you receive reflects your actual openings, finish and glass — not a generic estimate that changes later.
Many aluminium suppliers advertise a "from" price per square metre, but that number rarely survives contact with a real project. A window's cost depends on far more than its size. Two openings of the same dimensions can differ significantly in price depending on the profile system, glass specification, hardware, finish and installation conditions.
Rather than publish a figure we'd later have to revise, we do it the other way around: we measure, we specify, and then we quote. It takes a little longer, but it means the price you receive is the price you can plan around.
Opening dimensions, number of panels, and whether the unit is fixed, sliding, stacking or hinged all affect material and labour.
Slim-sightline, thermally broken, or heavy-duty commercial profiles each carry different extrusion and fabrication costs.
Single, laminated, double-glazed, frosted, low-E or security glass — the glazing choice is often the largest variable.
Standard powder-coat colours, premium finishes and marine-grade coatings are priced differently.
Handles, multi-point locking, panic bars and SANS-compliant security options are specified per opening.
Height, access, removal of existing frames, and travel distance within KZN all factor into the final quote.
Every written Bluminium quote is itemised, so you can see exactly what you're paying for. Depending on the scope, it will typically cover:
Any exclusions — such as building work, plastering, painting, or removal of structural elements — will be clearly listed on the quote so there are no surprises.
We keep it simple and transparent:
