These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the agreement between you ("the client", "you") and Bluminium (Pty) Ltd ("Bluminium", "we", "us", "our") in relation to your use of our website and any quotation, fabrication, supply or installation of aluminium windows, doors and related systems.
By browsing this website, requesting a quote, or placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

All quotations issued by Bluminium are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. Prices are subject to change after this period due to fluctuations in aluminium, glass, hardware and powder-coating costs.
Quotes are based on the information available at the time — including dimensions, site conditions, finish selections and glass specifications. If the actual site conditions differ materially from those quoted, or if you request changes, we reserve the right to revise the quote accordingly.
A quote does not constitute a binding contract until you have accepted it in writing and paid any required deposit.
An order is only confirmed once:
Once an order is confirmed, fabrication specifications are locked in. Any changes requested after confirmation may incur additional charges and may affect lead times. We will advise you of any such impact before proceeding.

Late payments may result in delays, suspension of work, or the cancellation of the order. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at the prescribed rate.
Lead times are estimates only and are provided in good faith. Typical residential lead times run from the date of final measure and confirmed deposit, subject to the number of openings, finish and glass selected. Lead times may be affected by factors beyond our control, including supplier delays, load-shedding, severe weather, or site readiness. We will keep you informed of any material delays.

If we arrive on site and are unable to proceed due to access issues, inaccurate information, or site conditions outside our control, a call-out or waiting fee may be charged.
While we take great care with site measurements, final dimensions are confirmed at the measure stage. If you supply your own measurements or drawings, you are responsible for their accuracy. We will not be liable for errors arising from measurements, drawings or specifications supplied by you or your representatives.
Colour, finish and glass selections are recorded on the confirmed order. Slight variations in powder-coat colour or texture may occur between batches; this is inherent to the coating process and is not considered a defect.
Bluminium installations are backed by a 15-year finish and workmanship warranty, unless otherwise stated in writing. The warranty covers:

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to hello@bluminium.co.za with supporting photographs and your order reference. We will assess the claim and, where valid, repair or replace the affected item at our discretion.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery or installation, whichever occurs first. Ownership of the goods remains with Bluminium until full payment has been received.
Until ownership passes, you may not sell, pledge, or otherwise encumber the goods. We reserve the right to reclaim goods in the event of non-payment.
Because our products are custom-fabricated to your specifications, cancellations are subject to the following:
Custom-fabricated goods are excluded from the usual "cooling-off" rights that apply to certain consumer transactions, to the extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bluminium's total liability arising out of or in connection with any order shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the goods or services giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of use, or damage to property, however arising.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Product images, finishes and glass appearances are indicative only and may differ from the final installed product.
